How to Set Up Custom References

The Custom References feature allows Admins to add custom fields specific to their business, enabling organization-wide customizations. These fields help capture important details unique to your operations.

Setting Up Custom References

Follow these steps to configure Custom References:

  1. Navigate to Settings

    Go to the Settings section under the Management tab.

  2. Select Custom References

    In the Settings menu, select Custom References to begin creating your fields.

  3. Name the Reference

    We suggest naming your Custom Reference something easily identifiable by the Alvys users in your organization (i.e. Load Locks & Straps Required)

  4. Choose the Field Type

    Text, Multiple Selection, Checkbox or Date

  5. Choose the Level

    Select where you want your custom references to appear:

  6. Save Your Reference

    After configuring your custom reference, click Save to apply it.
