Released August, 4 - August, 31
The Motor Carrier verification feature allows Alvys tenants, acting as brokers, to receive confirmation of the established business relationship, via the owner’s email and/or mobile phone, that is registered with the FMSСA as a carrier. In this way, brokers can be sure that the carrier's representatives are authorized by the owner, to act on his behalf, to book loads and obtain any relevant information.
What does it do?
- The user in the Alvys platform initiates the MC validation by selecting one of the preferred options (1. Email & SMS, 2. Email, 3. SMS) to send the 6-digits validation code to the FMCSA owner email and/ or mobile number and confirm intention to validate the carrier.
- The verification code is sent automatically to the carrier owner using the option specified by the user.
- The user contacts the carrier owner, receives a verification code (if he does not have access to the FMCSA email/mobile phone) and enters it into the Motor Carrier Validation form.
- If the entered verification code matches and has not expired, the system will display a message confirming successful verification. Otherwise an error will be displayed and the user can request a new verification code.
- If the user has access to the FMCSA email and it is selected as a verification option, they may open the link in the email and confirm the Carrier.
- The current verification status (MC verified/MC Unverified) is displayed in the Carrier profile and in the Load details - Сarrier details.
